Each year for twelve years, the Chinese have named after an animal
and gave them each a sign and are on a rotating cycle. Below are the
twelve animal signs and each of their characteristics according to the
folk method for naming the years for the traditional China. The
Rat: This is the very first animal that appears in the Chinese
zodiac. It is commonly thought to be suspicious, aggressive, ambitious,
honest, power-hungry, and quick to anger, generous and usually spends
freely. They believe that the people that are born in the year of the
Rat are imaginative, charming, and truly generous to the people they
love. Even so, they tend to be overly critical and very hot tempered.
The best jobs for the people born under the rat is either as a
publicist, writer, critic or sales work. The rats will be compatible
with the Monkeys and Dragons but should avoid the Horses. The
Ox: The second animal in the Chinese signs is a symbol of very
powerful individuals and has stubborn and unyielding personalities. It
is said that those that are born in this year are outstanding parents
and are natural born leaders who usually succeed when they have the
opportunity. The best professions for an The Ox could be a general,
skilled surgeon or a hairdresser. The Ox will get along well with
Roosters and Snakes but should avoid Sheep.
The
Tiger: This is the fighting animal and those born under the
tiger’s sign are aggressive, sensitive, charming, unpredictable,
emotional, courageous and very capable of great love. They usually have
a carefree life and often put themselves at risk. Ideal jobs for the
Tiger would be an explorer, matador, boss or racecar driver. They can be
happily married to The Horse or The Dog but should stay away from The
Monkey. The Rabbit: The people that are born under this
sign are often affectionate, talented, always pleasant, obliging, and
value tranquility and security. They tend to get superficial and too
sentimental. They will avoid all conflict if they can and most
involvement emotionally. They also are very successful in business and
do not take many risks. Their ideal jobs would be a diplomat, actor or a
good lawyer. Partners for the Rabbit would be The Sheep or The Pig but
never the Roosters. The Dragon: The people that are born
under the sign of the Dragon are
mostly considered gifted, intelligent, loud, bossy, unfaithful and
garish but are successful and very popular with a great deal f
enthusiasm and vitality. They can look very stubborn from the outside
but are really softhearted on the inside. They are born to have jobs as
politicians, artists, priests or leaders of se sort. They are best
coupled with The Snake or The Rooster and should definitely stay away
from The Sheep. The Snake: Those born under this sign is
usually considered passionate, clever, romantic, determined, intense,
rich in charm and wisdom, but very vain. Women Snakes are very often
beautiful. The Snakes will be guided mostly by their intuition. Although
they will often win a lot of money, they will have to avoid their stingy
attitude with money and procrastination. The best jobs for the Snake
would be a philosopher, teacher, psychiatrist, writer or possibly a
fortuneteller. They would get along good with The Rooster or The Ox but
